This page contains a few notes about KYPS account expiry and deletion.
account types
With KYPS, you have your main KYPS account, and one or more "third-party" accounts that you have registered under your main KYPS account. Your main KYPS account contains your email address, your mobile phone number, and the details of your subscription (if any).
automatic deletion and expiry rules
The information about a registered third-party account is automatically deleted if you have not logged into that account using KYPS for 180 consecutive days. Your main KYPS account is automatically deleted if you have not logged into any your registered third-party accounts for 180 consecutive days and if your subscription (if any) is expired.
manual deletion
You might want to manually delete the third-party accounts your registered under your main KYPS account at some point in time. Possible reasons for this include the following.
- You have lost your one-time codes, and you are afraid that someone could find them and abuse them.
- You do not need one-time codes for those accounts any more.
You can delete any registered third-party accounts, and even your main KYPS account, on the administration page.
